Damn Robert! You be one lucky picker, dog!
NRBQ is one of my favorite bands. They've been around forever and have played with or backed-up everyone from Skeeter Davis and Carl Perkins to alto-sax master Phil Woods. And they're a fabulous band to see live...more fun than a three-ring circus! Also, Charlie Robison covered their song "I Want You Bad" on his newest CD.
Y'alls band must be HOT, to be linked up with NRBQ. I wish I could be there for the merriment!
Keep on pickin'!

We're pretty lucky indeed, but I suspect it's because we have 2 great tenors and one very good alto vocalist who sing very well together.
NRBQ is the second national touring band we've opened for (the first was the Brooklyn Cowboys with Buddy Cage), and we open for a lot of the major southeast regional bands. Not bad for only one year together so far.
I'm clearly not a great steel player, but the instrument is so rare today being ok is sufficient (although I'm not satisfied with that level).
