BMI D-10, (consignment), four pedals, three knee levers,leg pouch and nice case. $1395.00 My guess is that this guitar was probably built from the factory for a handicaped owner with one leg. Both C6th. and E9th. pulls are attached to the same pedals and levers. This caused the action to be very stiff, but by backing off the nylon C6th. tuners, the E9th. neck plays with normal tension. There are no additional C6th. pedals to restore the guitar to standard D-10 specification, but can be purchased from the BMI Company. Duane's Music, 636) 528-4307 www.duanesmusic.com |

Very clean, good sounding guitar. Notice the lack of cross shafts on the C6th. neck, meaning it was custom ordered from the factory without standard eight pedals. |

Hi Duane,
I believe this was an economy model made by BMI. Both necks were operated by the same pedals and knee levers. I've seen the ad for it in the old Steel Guitarist magazines. |

Duane,
This is not an economy model. We haven't made economy models since Zane Beck died. This looks like one of the BMI Crossovers we used to make where you could use both necks with the same floors and knees. We quit making these because there was not a lot of demand for them.
This could be finished out as a nice D10.....
