| Our next meeting will be Sunday, Feb. 1st at 2:30PM at the Life Church Bldg. in Katy,Tx. Directions : Take I10 to Katy. Take Pin Oak exit. South on Pin Oak to Katy-Flewellen.(about 300 yds. Chevron store on right). Right on Katy-Flewellen to Greenbusch.(first street on left). Left on Greenbusch to Life Church Bldg.( a little over 1 mile). Enter at front. All players should be there by 2:00PM to set up. We will have a short teaching segment. A players segment. Players, regardless of your playing level are urged to come and play. Have at least 2 songs ready. Our featured player will be Dale Thomas from West Branch, Iowa. Dale has played for us before and is a great player and entertainer. Lets have a good turn out for Dale and and his beautiful Carol. We will have the JAM. The meeting is free, however there will be a donation box for those who would like to donate to help defray the expense of operating the club. All steel players, musicians,vocalists , and steel fans are invited. If you have steel product for sale(CDs ,inst. etc.)feel free to bring it. Soft drinks and snacks are greatly appreciated. | Jody, not sure if I'll be back in Texas for this one but will try. I am in Phoenix for the SWSGA show and plan to stay for awhile after. Glad to hear we are keeping our meeting place. Cheers to Billy and Patty for their loyalty to the club. |

I'll be there. I enjoyed Dale's performance when he was last here. Bought his CD and enjoy it often.

| Jim, don't think I'll get back in time. Had a great time at the SWSGA show in Phoenix. I ran stage monitors for the show and really enjoyed meeting and working with the club and the incredible players J.D. Maness, Bobby Black, Norm Hamlett, Russ Hicks, Tommy Dodd, Frank Carter, Mike Sigler, Al Vescovo, Carco Clave,Bobby Bowman, Herb Steiner, Jim Loessburg, Doug Jernigan, Austin Stewart, Albert Talley, and on and on) I hope you guys have a great turnout for the SETX meeting. Will do my best to make the next one. |
