The ONLY ONE that is important........is the BIGSBY sitting in your living room...waiting for you to caress it's strings and make beautiful music.

All the rest are just so much conversation........

Some have been so badly butchered you'd barely recognize them. Some have been battered to the point you'd be ashamed to sit behind one to play.

If you want one, go for it. It's an INVESTMENT, not a waste! You'll most likely be able to recover every penny you invested in it.

Decide what sounds you want it to make, pedal-wise, have Todd Clinesmith make it for you and then play your heart out! It's NOT an EMMONS, or SHO-Bud or anything else. It's a BIGSBY!!

Amen, Ray! Have Todd build one for you. And order one of his resonator guitars while you are at it - you'll never regret it.

Daniel - you are obviously obsessed with Bigsby steel guitars since you hold the world's record for most Steel Guitar Forum threads started on the subject, so I'm really surprised you don't have the book yet! Shocked
