Can anybody help me date an Emmons Push Pull S-10?
Serial #1028 S. Looks real old. Have found the D-10 page at Carter but no mention of S-10's or ST-10's

Doug, I have a 71 S10 with #S1204 so I guess it is
older than that. Mine is a cut-tail design. Ron
Lashley can tell you.
I have a friend with a Carter Starter if any of your
students wants one. It is not a good way to start.

Thanks Paul, I guess this is a late 60's model. I'm setting it up this week and will post it on the forum. Guitar sounds great. It was in a church here in Greensboro. It has a few LeGrande knee brackets and a blck verticle lever, the others are the original grey aluminum. Other than that all original.

I'll keep you in mind on that Carter.

Hi Doug; Just now looked at the ser.# for my '66 (possibly early '67) S-10 with the alum. neck ...it is #1025 S, so they may have been laying close to each other when first made. I got this one in a trade last year with a very nice Forum member, then had Mike Cass put 5 knee levers on, fix some changer glitches, and generally work his magic on it. It originally was made with 6 pedals only. Turned it into one fine playing machine. Hard to imagine that I was fresh out of High School when this single neck was new. Wink JON Z out West

I used to own an S10 with serial number 1184. 'Never could get any info on the year she was born. Oh Well If any one knows the age of it I'd still be interested in finding out. The closest guess I had was 1970.

Keep on pickin'!
