Hi everybody,
I wrote down the following tab after watching on you Tube John Hughey's video.(many thanks to Mr. Bill Ferguson for his job))
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K6jRQbRIchg&feature=related
It's just a personal interpretation and it doesn't mean to be an exact copy of the original version. As much as I have looked for, Mr Hughey's transcript " Storms Never Last" is not found among those on sale on his site nor anywhere else. Working on it has given me the chance to improve my skills by learning from the Great Master' technique.
Here is first part, if you want second part(done with microsoft excel) send me your email address.
5th/10th strings raises B to C(1/2 tone) and C # (pedal A)
3th/6th strings raises G# to A (pedal B)
4th/5th strings raises 1 tone (pedal C)
4th/8th strings raises 1/2 tone (lev D)
4th/8th strings lowers 1/2 tone (lev F)
2th/9th strings lowers 1/2 tone (lev G)
5th/10th strings lowers 1/2 tone (lev H)

John does have the rythm track on the cd self titled "John Hughey" he intended to cut the song but by the time he got to the track he told me "he was so far out of tune with the track he decided not to do it",BUT it is on the rythm track for that cd,and it's not listed ...it's the last track on the cd rythm track,John did'nt know that the track was included when he started selling them....after the last track plays wait several beats and the track for Storms Never Lasts will start. _________________ Dan Layne |
