There is a thread about the best show you have ever seen in the steel players section[but it had to be about steel players,so could'nt place this there] One of the BEST groups out there is a trio,THE DEMPSEYS based in Memphis,Dean Birkedahl,Joe Fink, and Ron Perrone,I was in a band awhile back that had the pleasure to open for them several times.Have seen a lot of shows in my time, but none I enjoyed more these guys, you have to see them to believe it, They had a part in the movie WALK THE LINE,[they played Elvis's band in the movie] If you ever get a chance to see them,DON'T PASS IT UP. I've heard great things about them, though I've not had the chance to see them yet.
