Here is a very unique instrumental tune by Stevie Ray. I first heard it on a local Seattle Jazz Station, a few years ago. (KPLU)

I've always wondered how it would sound on PSG.????

Hey Roger, interesting idea. Could be tough to voice in places but I started fooling around with it on C6 this morning. I think SRV usually tuned down a half step with those big fat strings on his guitar but for fooling around on the steel in a more "standard" key...For the initial Dm9, Cm9, Bbm9 try strings 3,5,6 at 16 fret with 6pedal, then add and release 7 pedal. repeat at 14 fret and then 12 fret.
Just before the arpeggios start on that Cmaj7, try strings 4,5,6,7 with 4 pedal, same group with 4+5 pedals, same group with 4,5 and LKR(lowers 6th string to D on my setup) and then same group with pedals 4,5,6(!) nice! If I get real motivated I may try to work it all out and tab it.

What touch and tone. Wow. I love Stevie Ray's whole thing. A lot of guys have tried to imitate, but there's only one SRV. I know he borrowed and stole from a lot of old blues guys, but he certainly made it his own.
