For those who were there for the show, you might find this little article I wrote will help you recall the experience. For those who did not attend, you can find out what instrument the players were playing, and what songs they played (although I missed a few of the titles). Click on the link:

John, thank you for the very kind words in your review.
Yes it was "THE BEST" show I've had the pleasure of being involved.
Just one correction, The guitar player with Herby was "Sonny Thomas"
See you soon. We've already booked with Barry for next year.

Bill:
Yes, I would like to try to add some photos. Can you e-mail a couple to me? I will see if I can add them.
My apologies to Sonny Thomas for getting his name wrong.

John, Wow, thanks for the very kind words. My hat is off to Barry and all his staff and of course Herby Wallace for his personal invitation. The Choo Choo show was an absolute joy and I'm already looking forward to next year. Thanks again, Frank Rogers |

Thanks John for your review of the Choo Choo show. When I read your account, it was easy to relive the great performance moments of the show. I especially appreciate you making this available here on the forum. We are already planning next year's show and plan to make it a "reunion" of the great players that performed plus a few surprises. The show in 2002 will be at the famous Chattanooga Choo Choo in the Imperial Ballroom. This will give us a great setting with expanded seating. In addition there is an adjacent 500 seat auditorium where steelers can jam. The dates for the show are April 12 and 13. More details will be announced soon. Thanks again, John, for your time involved in writing that summary of the show. |

You are welcome, Barry. It sounds as though the Choo Choo Reunion in 2002 may even top the show you presented this year, if that is possible. I plan to be there!

Thanks to Bill Ferguson for making some excellent photos of the Choo Choo City Steel Guitar Reunion available. Four pictures are now posted at the end of the article, including two of the SuperJam - with Rugg, Jernigan, Hughey, Wallace and Knight all on stage together.
