Del Ray, is the Bishop a member of the Forum? If not please ask him to join. That is about as soulful steel playing as I've ever heard. I think we get caught up here too much on discussing equipment and gadgets. Its very refreshing to hear The Bishop's praise as he plays. It stirs my soul in a good way when he plays. Just outstanding. Wish I could see him live.

Is he using E9 cromatic for his copedent?? It looked like he was picking off the 1st string, but didn't sound like the cromatic sound??? And the way he gets around with just thum and 1 finger pick... I loved it............ Smile <><

Bishop Hall, very soulful and inspiring I enjoy your style very much. Keep it coming.

Del, While I have the opportunity, "Glorious Triumph" has been in my CD rotation since I purchased it several months ago. Lovin' that CD.
Thanks!

Ron is a great player and new-found friend for me. He's a great "musical gem" in the community of pedal steel guitar players. I visit Ron's youtube site often. I am into "Sacred Steel" bigtime. Del Ray, many thanks for keeping this style of music alive!

Thanks Steve for the pleasant words of encouragement. We are trying very hard to expose the masses to the sacred steel style and also to the many players that play it via. my youtube page.

I just released 4 new sacred steel projects for 2009 on my website, hopefully this will help.

Great playing, Bishop Hall! Some of your playing reminds me of Calvin Cook (one of my favorite steel players).

Hi Dan,
Thanks for your encouragement. When, or if you hear/see Calvin Cooke, the Campbells, or even Ted Beard, mention my name. You will find, we have a long history together. Thanks Again.
