There was a thread on that just over a week ago...
"Anyone Use compressors..." something...look it up,
it offers some interesting angles...the original use
of the compressor is not that of a "sound effect",
but it COULD be adjusted for that type of purpose
also...heavy compression is usually more suitable on
a chicken scratch Tele than on the Steel Guitar,but
even though we might not think so,everything on the
radio,CD´s,live etc...is compressed somewhere along
the line...but,check that thread...McUtsi |
