I've been watching the new sacred steel video, and all i can really say is
THANKS BOB...
It put together very well, and most importantly and has lots of shots of the players doing there thing.
One complaint..its too short. Bob, please add about 5 hours to it.
All kiding aside, its really good, and i can't stop watching it.
-Nelson-
PS: Don't mean to overlook the actual players themselves, so if any of you are lurking the forum, a really big thanks for appearing in and playing in the video.

Thanks Nelson. It was a team effort by the video project staff, musicians and congregations. And a labor of love.
Yes, there are quite a few sacred steelers who read the Forum regularly but seldom, if ever, post anything. Maybe as time goes on more of them will come forward.
By the way, the video will be shown on a big screen at the George Eastman House in Rochester, NY on Sat. night April 21. The Campbells and other local sacred steelers will play after the film. I'll be there to introduce the film. Stay tuned for details which I will post soon.
Thanks again. |

The Sacred Steel video is available from all record stores and mail order houses as well as www.arhoolie.com
I'm also selling them direct at a reduced price: $20 postpaid in the US. I don't think you'll find it cheaper elsewhere.
Send your check or MO to:

Thanks for your interest. |
