I recieved a request from a local gentleman here in Maine who is looking for a steel player. Since I am a beginner, unfortunately its not me. Might be a good opportunity for someone though, so I told him I would post it here.

Below is the email I was asked to forward:

Hi,
Thank you so much for your response. I have an act that is getting national release in March and will need a back-up band to do a cross country tour. We have a label and support, a management team, and I teach the biz ay the University of Maine in Augusta so this is a chance for the serious. Check out Bettys' Beauty World at http://www.markknightmusic.com . We are attempting both sponsorship and the blanket of Walmarts' to cross this country to promote this recording and others. Since it's so pedal steel driven (Nashville productions), it makes it hard to find the right person for the job. Hope you might know someone.......
Best

Hey listen guys. For some of you looking for work this sounds like it might be a great opportunity. Give the guy a call and see if it is something you might be interested in.

I am a new player with less than 6 months experience or I would be all over it.

Cheers,

Brian
