I bought the 3 volumes of the above when they were released quite a while ago. Having hundreds of CD's (like many of us), I don't notice all things!!!!

I usually play all my CD's in either my home or car player, very, very seldom on the computer. Tonight, I put Hawaiian Steel Vol 2 into the computer and I just happend to see that while it's labelled Vol 2 with the tunes for Vol 2, the CD appears to be Vol 3 with the Vol 3 tunes on it.

As I said, I have many CD's and I can't even remember now from where I bought these.
Has anybody else had the problem or do I have a "collector's wrongly labelled" CD????

Not sure where to post this, but the no pedallers is my most often visited section.

The mystery deepens. I just browsed some sources on the net and it says the supplier has discontinued these items. Here is a pic of the case and CD to prove to one and all that I'm not trying to steal the music. This CD is Vol 3, not Vol 2.

So, I am asking if any nice soul who bought the correct Vol 2 could send the tracks to me electroniclly please. Thanks.

George,

Here's a link to where you can purchase Vol. 3

http://www.mele.com/music/artist/alan+akaka/hawaiian+steel+vol+3/

Volume 3 (Byrd's Nest) is the CD with all of Jerry Byrd's students. The songs are noted in the link.

The photo and songs you show for Volume 2 are correct unless the songs listed on the CD don't match up.

I don't want to purchase Vol 3. As I said above, I have Vol 3, but it's disguised as Vol 2. Vol 2 (two) is what I'm looking for. I remember now it was Byrd's Nest from where I bought them.

I ordered Vols 1, 2 and 3, and got 1, 3, and 3.

Maybe somebody will offer to send me Vol 2 in MP3's since it's no longer available and I've paid the price for Vol 2, but Byrds Nest didn't keep up their end of the deal.

Contact KEALA Records her in Hawaii at (808) 263-7670
They should be able to make an exchange if it's an legitable complaint.

The CD is still available; it's just that the supplier you bought it from probably didn't want to stock it anymore.

Or better yet, return the CD from where you bought it from and get a refund, then buy Volume 2 from this website link above.

Thanks Derrick for your thoughts. These days, we don't go to any expense to return a piece of crap. It's a waste of resources. It's Vol 3 all labelled and packaged as Vol 2. I wouldn't spend 50 cents to return it. And, since it's so long ago, I'm guessing that I bought all 3 discs from Byrd's Nest, but I couldn't be positive.

The easiest way was to ask somebody to send the tracks of Vol 2 to me, but I'll just scrap the idea. I have hundreds if not thousands of CD's and I have over 9000 Lps, some of which I've given to folks on the SGF.
