I'm very impressed with Peavey's customer service!
Back-story - Fellow forumite, Marc Friedland, was kind enough to loan me his Nashville 112. Unfortunately, the knob and the post were broken off the Master Volume and reverb. I wanted to surprise Marc and replace them as a way of thanks. I ordered both pots from Peavey and two weeks later they still hadn't shown up. I called them yesterday to find that my order got lost in the system. It happens. I let guy at Peavey know what I was trying to do. Oh, and Marc needed his amp back in two days.
The upshot is Peavey overnighted the pots to me, got 'em this morning, installed them and all is well.
Definitely a customer for life. |

Peavey's service is the best in the business, there is no other guitar or amp manufacturer in the world that takes care of their customers like Peavey. Acoustic Image comes close, but are still a relatively young company.
Peavey is finishing up the repair of an old silver knob Pacer of mine that the reverb quit working on. It's been there less than a week, and the cost was downright cheap compared to most repair shops. Great folks. _________________ Darvin Willhoite
MSA Millennium, Legend, and Studio Pro, Reese's restored Universal Direction guitar, a restored MSA Classic SS, several amps, new and old, and a Kemper Powerhead that I am really liking. Also a Zum D10, a Mullen RP, and a restored Rose S10, named the "Blue Bird". Also, I have acquired and restored the plexiglass D10 MSA Classic that was built as a demo in the early '70s. I also have a '74 lacquer P/P, with wood necks, and a showroom condition Sho-Bud Super Pro. |

Excellent customer service and amps that are rugged is what keeps Peavey in business. Fender should take a lesson. Someting to consider when buying an amp. |

I recently sent my Tubefex to Peavey repair for a replacement input jack, upgrade to the 2.0 version, and for a checkup (It already had the "Ken Fox" battery-less mod). "Jimmy" from Peavey repair called me when the work was completed, asked if there was anything else that I needed, then promptly shipped the unit back to me. I received it yesterday and as expected, everything works perfectly . My thanks to everyone at Peavey, especially Mike Brown and now Jimmy too! |

+1 on the praise of the Peavey customer service folks - not just the management and phone people, but also the folks with their sleeves rolled up and their hands dirty. I have also had a couple of encounters with Jimmy, (I believe he is a tech guy) and he was wonderful.
I have used Peavey equipment for years and one of the main reasons is because I knew if I had a problem in some remote town out on the road, there would be a Peavey dealer nearby and Peavey would step up to the plate. There are many companies who make good equipment. For me, customer service is the reason I have a garage full of Peavey "stuff". _________________ Ellis Miller
