We got into this in another somewhat rambling thread so I thought I'd post just the tab examples here .... just a few ideas out of hundreds (maybe thousands) of ways to negotiate a I VI II V progression in 6-string C6th or C6th/A7tuning.

The 2nd example substitutes D minor for the IV chord and the 4th examples subs an Fmai7th for the "vanilla" F.
