The So. Cal. Western Swing Music Society needs Steel Guitar,Fiddle and especially Bass players for their Jam Session on Sunday, April 8th at Montana's in San Dimas. The Jam session will begin between 2 and 3pm and we have the room until 6pm. Should be a lot of fun. Former Texas Playboy Johnny Cuviello will be there to play. You don't want to miss this guy. For more info, contact Cathi Parson ASAP @ 626/963-7176 or respond to this topic. This is a good thing. Let's keep it goin!! Thanks for your support.

Dang it, I wish South California was a bit nearer to Texas. Johnny is such a great guy, and an absolute pleasure to play with. Looking forward to his visit to TX in May.

C'mon guys. Texas is only a mere....ummm.....well it's not that far away. And Massachussets is really cold this time of year, isn't it? It's nice and warm in Cali right now. But really, thanks for the thought. I appreciate it!! Steve, I'll see you in May as well. I'll be hangin with Johnny C. and Barbara M. Make sure and introduce yourself.

Cathi: Does the jam require bringing gear for bass playing or will there be a set up in place? Ken

Ken: From what I know, you would want/need to bring your amplifier. If you don't own one, I'll see what I can do to make sure there is one for you. Just give me some technical particulars and enough lead time. Thanks for your interest. Hope it works out.

Gene, I'll be in San Marcos, Wichita Falls and Fort Worth this year. If I hadn't started this Society I'd probably move there for the music alone because the weather certainly wouldn't be a draw. Turkey is out because of the traveling logistics. Have a great time though and say hey to Dayna!! Cathi
