It took me awhile to figure out how to get to the right place to read posts. I want to thank everyone for being such good friends to Papa. He talked about you more than you can imagine.

Hello Doneva;
I am sorry for the loss of your Dad.
He was truly a special man. I never met him other than some emails back & forth & reading all of the posts he put up on this forum. I do not believe he ever met a stranger. He was always ready & willing to help anyone/ everyone who had any questions relating to the pedal steel guitar. he will be missed by many. Thank You for posting on here & hang around - you might get bit by this crazy steel bug also!!! Ron _________________ "Tone is in the hands. Unless your wife will let you buy a new amp. We need to turn the TWANG up a little
It's not what you play through, it's what you play through it.

the value of friendship. Old friends shine like diamonds, you can always call them and - most important - you can't buy them. |

Hello Moon's Daughter.Your Dad invited me down from Anchorage a few years ago when I was looking for a Carter guitar to try,I got to spend a few hours with him and his steel guitar,He even played a handful of songs for me and my friend who made the ride to Kasiloff with me.Moon could really play the Steel Guitar and had great love for it.I'm just sorry that I never made it back down to visit.he made a lot of friends here on the forum and is greatly missed.

Moon and I exchanged lots of emails over the years. When he disappeared from the Forum, I tracked down his telephone number and called him. We had a great visit that evening.
I sure do miss him.

Nice to know that the forum fills an important part of the lives of some of the people here.
I always enjoyed Moon talking about his Fender guitar. |

Hi Ms. Doneva,
And welcome to our lil group. We sure miss your dad and share in your grief.
He was a complex man, yet simple in a lot of ways.
I think that was part of his appeal.
I remember him being one of the first to
welcome me when I joined the forum.
Come on in and enjoy the ride with us.
Glad to have you ! _________________ Just remember,
