I'm happy to tell you all that at age 60, I've recently become engaged to a wonderful woman, Susan. We've told the families that we are going to Vegas at some future date, but really we want to plan an intimate hawaiian wedding, just the two of us.

I have no idea where to go or what to do. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Feel free to contact me privately.

I'm posting this here because I figured it was the best place.

Bill I am referring you to Aloha Forever Hawaii Weddings based on my experience with Mark and Diane Yasuhara. I lived in Hawaii for 14 years and knew them when I lived there. They are both great people. Here is their website:
http://alohaforeverhawaiiweddings.com/
Phone: (808) 222-9503

Mark and Diane Yasuhara can make the entire arrangements for your wedding with you - They are better known as The Hawaiians who toured the mainland over 20 years ago and were very popular. Mark trained with the Metropolitan Opera and Diane has an exquisite voice. They blend to sing one of the best arrangements of “The Hawaiian Wedding Song that you will ever hear. They have made 14 LP album recordings. They have been inducted into the Hawaiian Music Hall of fame. If you have them sing it for you, they will make shivers run up and down your spine. (In Hawaii, it is called chicken skin) Mark is a minister and can marry you in a location of your choice. You will find them very accommodating with a great aloha spirit.

I hope that this helps you. Congratulations on your future wedding and God speed on your marital journey!

Bill,
Ask the Yasuharas if they can marry you in Haiku Gardens. If they can, that location is a winner.
