Propik CCW?

Recently I purchased some new Propik’s brass finger picks.
I’ve been using them for years and like them.
These picks, however are marked with CCW and a small circle identifying them as Counter Clock Wise.
They resemble the Resonator picks.
My guess is that this might be an older marking system or perhaps a newer marking system.
Anyone know about these markings on the Propik?
I doubt this will have any effect on my inability to play pedal steel; I am just curious why I don’t see these markings in any of the reference material for Propik (that I can find).
