I use an old Seymour Duncan lipstick tube type soundhole pickup on an old 12 string acoustic. I have a new set of La Bella "Silk and Steel" strings to try out on the old twelve. Will they work properly with the pickup?

I know that there is a difference with bronze and nickel strings and this pickup, and I imagine the silk n steels are even less magnetic than the bronze. I don't want to string it up and redo it if there's little output.

I'd think that electric 12 string strings would be the right choice. Any advice appreciated,

Blake
