Beautiful guitar Jeff!

In your video, I first heard such a nice sweet full bodied tone. Then you went up high on the neck and I said to myself... "Dang what a great classic tone that guitar has"

I can only imagine the looks on peoples faces when they see that guitar in person.

You better carry "smelling salts" with you at all times. BTW, never forget to carry a "drool catcher" in your back pocket! Congrats.

Jeff,
So glad you like your beautiful new Show Pro. I love mine and I've never been more satisfied with any guitar I've ever played, especially the tone Very Happy .
They really are beautifully crafted, custom instruments.

Both Jeffs are happy with this guitar! Jeff Surratt is a prince of a fellow and a pro at building fine steels. Hats off to you both.

Very Happy Laughing Rolling Eyes

Wow, guys and gals looking at this beautifully built guitar, brings back many memories in the early 80's when I first saw my new D-10 sho-Bud sitting there in Shot's place of business on Broadway. Is it the Sho-Bud people that Jeff worked for? And Tommy, that lovely piece of equipment you play on The Crook and Chase Show is another great looking guitar.
Jeff ; that's mighty fine pickin you were doing.. Send us another U-Tube with the Beauty..Bernie Rolling Eyes Laughing Whoa! Whoa! Very Happy

Jeff Surratt studied steel guitar building under the Sho-Bud builder Duanne Marrs. Jeff is a master builder in the Shot Jackson tradition and the owner of the Sho Pro company.

Thanks guys for all the comments. I don't post much, but I had to share this with you. I'm really loving this guitar As Tommy says not only does it have great tone, but I have never had a guitar sustain this well I don't know how to act but I'll manage ! Jeff & John do a great job making these wonderful guitars just how you want them.

Dan, it has 710's on it

Jeff, that's sure a great looking guitar, as well as, a sweet sounding instrument.

But even more importantly, I sure want to say, that most of all, I loved hearing YOUR originality, and style of playing through that song!

Supurb, all the way up and down the neck, and each pedal, knee, change was so right on the money!

Tone and style to the bone, out of those hands for certain!

Some of the finest sounding changes, in the originality I've ever had the pleasure of listening to.

It takes much to get compliments of such quality out of me. I guess it's one of my worst points. But when I do give them in this regard, they are indeed meant from the heart.

Smooth as silk on a Butterflies back.

Congratulations on your new steel, Sweet music indeed,

Don

Thanks Don I'm flattered as I mostly look at all the stuff I play as "Stolen from The real steel players" Having the 5,6,10 Lower(Franklin Pedal) Raising strings 1,2 to G# and E for me can really toss a lot into a tune like that. Again I'm loving this guitar.

Good-looking guitar, and I have to agree with the others---Your intonation is dead-on. Thanks for sharing!
