Thanks to everyone for being so patient with us, but we wanted the video to be the best it could be. The video is titled "An Evening of E9th", and it is awesome. We are now taking orders even though it is not displayed on our web site as of yet. We are waiting on pictures and hopefully a short video clip which can be viewed on our site tommywhite.com
For those of you who would like to go ahead and order, you may do so by sending a check or money order made out to Teresa White for
$35. ($30. for video and $5. S & H) to this address: Teresa White, P.O. Box 1002
Hendersonville, Tn 37077-1002.
Please be sure to include your mailing address and email address if you have one.
We look forward to sharing this incredible event captured on video, with everyone.
Thank you, Teresa White

Teresa,
I guess I missed the preliminary conversations about this video. Can you give us some details as to it's contents ? Is it instructional, or more concert-like ?
I watched Tommy's E9 video with a friend. While the licks and tips were great, the part I enjoyed most of all was simply watching Tommy play at the beginning/end of the video. I'd love some more of that !

John, The video was a live concert, unrehearsed.with Loyd Green and Tommy white trading and playing together on E9th only.Masterfull,Produced by Tereasa. What a producer. I had a front row seat. It's instructional in the sense that ..here are TWO masters playing their hearts out and having a good time..It is worth having. It is a great experiance. There is about an hour of playing if everything was left in.

John, Bob answered your question and yes the tape runs a little over 61 minutes. We left
every song in. This is not an instructional video, it is a live unrehearsed performance with an audience. Tommy and Lloyd are both very proud of this video, except for the mistakes they made, but I told them going in
I want to keep mistakes and all.
The other question was concerning Paypal, we
haven't made plans as of yet to use the service, mainly because I haven't checked into how it works, but I will investigate the possibility.

Hey everybody, jump on these videos so Tommy can be inspired to make many more. His E9 video is super and we can never have too much of his great playing. We sure don't get enough of it on TNN and looks like we are going to get less and less, so buy now and create a rush, Thanks, Gary

Is this with backup band, or "a capella"? I'll buy it either way, of course... just curious.

I think you would sell more if all we had to do was call and give you our Debit Card or Credit Card number. That's about the only way I order anything. I'll go so far as to say If you get that set up I'll buy one.
You can get my email off this and let me know where to call. Don't have to be an 800 number either. Thanks

Hate to be slow on the uptake, but is Tommy one of the Whites? I remember the old man and the girls from bluegrass festivals. Is Tommy their brother?

No matter, I want to see this tape of Lloyd; hope Tommy doesn't get in the way.

Theresa, check out www.paypal.com It makes it so much easier for customers to buy things.
Without it, a lot of impulse sales are lost.
I know I would have spent a lot more at the St. Louis conv, if some vendors took credit cards.

Marty, do you realize what you said in your post? I'd like to think you had some sort of temporary brain fart or something to that effect, and what you said isn't what you really meant to say at all.

How about a retraction statement and a genuine apology? Come on now, Marty, we all make mistakes. Here's a chance to redeam yourself. Please do so.

Umm... well, ok.
I'm sorry to say that I'm really not familiar with Tommy's playing. I'm sure it's outstanding as he is the staff player at the Opry. The thrust of my statement was that I think I would prefer to hear Lloyd's work on its own.
I hope that makes sense; I know what I mean.

Marty,
If you were familiar with Tommy's playing you would know that he doesn't get in anyone's way. Tommy White is as technically excellent as any steel player including Emmons, Franklin, and -- yes -- Lloyd Green. And from the backup stuff I've heard on the Opry, his EARS are even better than his HANDS. This is a world class musician to whom you owe an apology (IMHO).

Larry Bell; very well spoken! And Marty, if I may make a suggestion... please consider swallowing your pride on this one. The comment you made about Tommy "getting in the way" was totally out of line, and indeed, a huge insult. If you can't bring yourself to apologizing publicly here, at least consider sending one privately. Lloyd and Tommy are both very dear friends of mine, and have been for many years. But let me say this from a professional stand point, Tommy doesn't need to take a back seat to anyone, and I do mean anyone! Tommy is without question, one of the most talented pedal steel players of all time. Even the very best in the business will testify to that, and without reservation. Much like Lloyd Green, Tommy is also a humanatarian. If you knew Tommy White as we know him, you would no doubt from this day forward forever be embarrassed about the comment you made about him "getting in the way" of someone.

Let me ask you a favor here, Marty. Please at least consider deleting your post before Tommy and/or others have had a chance to see it. Fair enough?
