NV 400 amp too heavy

I new to the forum and have enjoyed the articles I've read. It's nice to find others out there with similar issues. I appreciate everyone sharing their ideas.
I have an NV 400 amp which is too heavy to lug around. I also have a Fender G-Dec amp with pre-set effects. Has anyone used one of these for a practice amp? If so, would you mind sharing the setting you've used?
