Howdy friends and neighbors, cowpals and cowgals, and city slickers.

I am writing to tell you about the "Biggest Barn Dance in Kansas" The dance is the "9th Annual Senior Senior Prom" It is hosted by VoLTS (Volunteers Learning Through Service) at Cowley County Community College in Arkansas City,KS. It is a totally FREE dance and SUPPER for Sr. citizens. It will be in the Arkansas City Ag Building located at 6th and Washington. Call 1-800-593-2222 ext. 5269 and request your ticket. Tickets are limited to 1,000 so call now!

Here is the agenda:

4:30-6:00p.m. Pre-Dance show & COWCHIP bingo start

4:30-5:45p.m. Local pianist Steve Butler will perform Big Band and Western Swing tunes.

5:45-6:00p.m. "The Edge" dance troupe will perform

6:00p.m. Supper starts and "The Oklahoma Balladeer" Les Gilliam and The Silverlake Band will perform until 9:00 p.m. Performing with Les will be former Texas Playboy steel guitarist Smiley Weaver!!!!!!!!!
