Hi everyone,
I am new to this forum and want to purchase a weissenborn style lap guitar for my boyfriend for xmas. Ive been looking and looking - the amazing handmades, the goldtones, superior, bill asher, etc... He is a beginner player, but has been talking about this for years, so want to get something special. He loves Ben Harper too, so need to stay in that style and what he uses. Can't afford the real antique ones esp if he is a beginner - would sooo love to but... - and can't find a Canopus anywhere, so been looking into a lot of different things. Can you all recommend some? And what is the setup needed? He is a guitar nut - has 2 acoustic, 2 electric (including an awesome Yamaha SG1000), but he needs a good amplifier (would be great to use with all if possible), so can you all help? Im new to this, so forgive all the questions! Thanks so much! hope you all can help a lady! |
