Friends - I need your help.
'Ich möcht' so gerne mal nach Nashville' is a famous German Country Song - let's translate it with 'I'd give everything to see Nashville sometimes'. I will fulfill this dream together with my 15-year-old daughter Jennifer this June. It's her birthday present and I'd like to show her as much of Music city USA as I can.
I already reserved seats for the Superstar Spectacular Show at Opryland on 14th and 15th at 11 pm.
As you can see, we've got a few more days in Nashville - so please tell me, what's a MUST and do you know of any events in this time (steel sessions?). Your help is greatly appreciated.
By the way - we fly to Atlanta at the 6th and go to Nashville by car on the 7th or 8th - anything inportant on the way (I heard Jackies distillery is there somewhere)

What is good to see in Nashville? Well, the internationally famous Smiley Roberts makes his home in Nashville and is certainly a city icon to behold. Smiley is always in the eyes of the pubic errrrr public sharing his knowledge and witticisms with those who swarm him (flies!). His picture can be found in nearly every home and Post Office in the U.S. This suave and debonaire hunk (of cheese) can be heard when you call someone and get their answering machine instead. Yes, he is the voice that we have all grown to love to hate! Smiley can be contacted by email from the forum. As famous as he is, he will always answer you with a kind word (who?) Below is a recent photo of Smiley on a typical trip out to the mall.
