This is a copy of an email sent by Denver Steeler, and my friend Dick Meis..

Hello Rocky Mountain Steel Guitar Club.
This is your president Dick Meis with some sad news, my son Gary who has played Bass for some of the performers at our Steel Guitar Shows passed away on November 29, he was 49 years of age.
I know many of you already know, this email is to inform those that don't know.
There will be a Memorial on Friday December 12 at 2:00pm at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant St. in Thornton.
That's north of Thornton Pkwy on Grant if any of you wish to attend.
My wife Lois and I have had so much love and support from so many and we appreciate your love and concern very very much.

Thank You and God Bless You.

Dick

Dick and Lois, this is a sad time for both the family and we who knew him. Margie and I did not know him well but we felt we did considering the shows at the Grizley and other places in which we had contact with him and your family.

We wish both of you the very best.

We will be at the service on Friday.
