Hi everyone, just a quick question regarding custom fretboards. I am starting to gather parts for my short scale 10 string project, and haven't had much luck finding a pre-made replacement fretboard.
It will be a 10 string steel with parallel spacing (3/8"), 22 1/2 inch scale. I love the look of the Sho-Bud replacements, though they all seem to be the longer PSG scale (obviously...)
I have tried searching the archives, but have not found a silk screened style fretboard in a short scale.
Does anyone know of a custom builder who can make one-offs? (Ouch! Now that's starting to sound expensive).

Hi Dean.
I can make one for you if you like, not expensively!
Laser engraved & cut, with whatever design you want for position markers etc.
Self adhesive backing ( just peel & stick )
Just let me know the dimensions etc.
I've done a few for various projects & they've all looked sweet.

Hey Chris,
I'm in!!!! I've been considering getting a customized fretboard for the Jerry Byrd Frypan that I'm going to order because I really don't like all the prapoganda on the original....but didn't know if I could do one that was affordable...the one on your link looks great...any way, I'll be in touch when I get that far...thanks,

Chris, just had a look at the fretboard you posted the link for, and all I can say is WOW!
