I have found a Marlin D10 for sale locally and by the pics seems to be in good shape. Serial # is 210 507091. Can anyone advise if these are good guitars and what the value maybe? Any help and comments on this would be appreciated.
Thanks
Dale

Hello Dale, check out Tony Arrowood on you tube under videos. If this guy cant convince you on a Marlin no one can. I do have an email address of the son of the man who used to build Marlins. He is a great guy and he has parts. Hope this helps.
If you change your minde let me know, I would love a Marlin.

Dale.....Ricky Davis told me once that the serial numbers have to be read backwards.
That makes this 210 507091 a D10 from July 5th 1991.And I hope that I've done it the right way. From the looks of that this has to have an All Pull changer....right?

Ron

P.S

Do you have any picks available?

Hey Ron---
If you know someone that needs some picks, send me their address, or have them contact me. I have some thumb, flat, and fingerpicks I'd give to somebody who needed them.

It depends. If it's got the regular pull-release (single-finger) changer, it's value is limited. If you're looking for a guitar that's versatile and easy to add changes to, you'd be well advised to find something with a more modern (all-pull) changer. If all you want is a simple setup, though, and you're aware of their shortcomings, it might be an okay axe. They look nice, and sound decent, but I'd just never recommend one for most players.
