Just buy it, that's all. Steel guitarist Randle Currie gets a surprising amount of time, considering it's also got Steve Wariner, Keith Urban, and "Clusterpluck" with Mason, Gill, Volkert, Lee, Jorgenson & Burton. Currie does a really nice Jerniganesque turn on "Les is More." 12 instrumentals! Only 4 songs!
Other keepers this year are Sonny Landreth's "From the Reach" and Eric Johnson's new DVD from a 2006 live show - he's finally reconciled his Wes Montgomery, country & roaring sides into total coherence. |

Couldn't agree more on Brad Paisley's "Play", David - just had my first listen today. A variety of guitar styles which keeps it real interesting - some of it sounds a lot like Eric Johnson or solo Steve Morse with the addition of some great pedal steel...real nice combination. |

Got my copy a few days ago, I like it a lot. _________________ Darvin Willhoite
MSA Millennium, Legend, and Studio Pro, Reese's restored Universal Direction guitar, a restored MSA Classic SS, several amps, new and old, and a Kemper Powerhead that I am really liking. Also a Zum D10, a Mullen RP, and a restored Rose S10, named the "Blue Bird". Also, I have acquired and restored the plexiglass D10 MSA Classic that was built as a demo in the early '70s. I also have a '74 lacquer P/P, with wood necks, and a showroom condition Sho-Bud Super Pro. |

This is my favorite B.P. CD so far. He always said he wanted to do this and I think his label was afraid to put it out. From what I hear about sales they should not be disappointed. |
