It's a Sho-Bud clip-on pedal. It attaches to the grooved style pedal bar with a metal adapter.
It's not missing the bottom...that's exactly how it's supposed to be.
Not new, either. It's probably at least 20 years old.

David,
I'll trade you a nice Sho Bud pedal, w/bottom, for yours if you want to trade. Fred

Think I will keep it a while, scored it on Ebay for 40 bucks and it's brand new.

Just like the one I have on my LDG. Works just fine.

It's a Sho~Bud, and the old Emmons pedal is quite similar. I don't like the design at all. All the wiring is exposed, as is the string and the pot, inviting dirt and hum.

Little wonder, since Sho~Bud went out of business over 20 years ago.

no donny, that's a self-cleaning pedal...all the dirt falls to the floor rather than being trapped inside like a pedal with a bottom!
