Anyone tried one of these for steelguitar?
I just ordered one for my practicesteel-setup at home.
On the road I use a lowprofile goodrich.

Hi - well I got one a few months ago. Good product for the price. If your used to low profile, this may be a suprise, I have to play it without footwear. It has a 250K pot - 500k better for steel as less treble going to ground and there is a graphite leak on mine(maybe because its new) so just in case put it on some thin cardboard to protect the carpet.I may try a 500k (470k) pot at some point and maybe modify the housing to put the output and tuner input on the right hand side of the housing,(HACKSAW, FILE, DRILL & JOB). I played through a sho-bud pedal for years so at home with it. Apart from all that I,m pleased with it but I've never been spoilt with a Hilton or a Goodrich. Happy pumping!

I got this home a couple of days ago, it works quite well, even though the outputjacks are on the wrong side it works well for my home setup, but I could easily alter the jacksetup as Geoff also says, they are just loose Jack sockets.
It was way to stiff in the movement when I got it, but all I did was loosen the screws a little bit and it was fine.
My conclusion::
A good volume pedal for the money, IMO better to use than Dunlop highgain and Ernie ball.

I got this pedal over the summer. I don't know much about volume pedals, cept for what I like and don't have much to compare it too as I was using an ernie ball pedal that wasn't so great. Compared to that this pedal is much better for the steel. The tone control on it is very cool too and probably the highlight of this pedal. |

I ordered one of these new fender pedals last spring ,,,the orignal low profile pedal got scratchy!
This new one works ok but it seems to prop my foot back to much ! I just ordered a 500k pot from Bobby Seaymore & replaced it in my orignal pedal ! |
