Olaf, for what its worth, heres the way that I am currently setting mine when I use it. Into the high gain jack I set gain at 6, low at 6, mid at 0 and shift at 6 but it doesn't matter with mid at 0, high at -6, presence at about 3, sensitivity at 7 and reverb at 4. One thing that I do differently that others do or may not do is that I use a rack mounted delay unit and get signal for it from preamp out and return it in the power amp in. It is about a 350 ms delay with probably 90% original signal with about 10% delay being added before being sent to the power amp. I probably am wrong in doing it this way, but I like it.
I should also note that I usually use this with an MSA Legend and Hilton pedal. When I play my maple 1975 MSA Classic with this same set up, the results are different, as with most any guitar would be.
