This is a customized raised neck Maverick that raises and lowers the E's. Model 6138, Serial #4119. This steel has a very sweet vintage tone. The single coil measured at 10.5K! It is Day pedal setup. LKL lowers string 2 1/2 step, but has enough travel to lower a full (with added mod it could have a feel stop). RKL lowers E's and RKR raises E's with pull-release system (see pic). NOTE: this steel is not for the mechanically challenged. The tuning involves the keyhead, changer end hex screws, 1/2 tone Emmons type tuners underneath (see pic) and the RKR lever stop to tune string 4 raise to F. The knee lever stops are rock solid. Pedal stops result from raise fingers butting to body. I imagine the copedant could be changed, but it would become an interesting project. Case and rod pouch in great shape. All it needs to look even better is a new fretboard. This little guy weighs less than 35 lbs in the case. Check out the pics below. Will sell to lower 48 for $700 plus shipping.
