I hope this is the best section to post this!

I am planning a small vacation for mid-January to be in the Nashville area and would like some input in making my plans. I've never been there so give me some suggestions---from a steelers point of view. Some things I want to do:

-see some live players jamming especially Paul Franklin and the band he works with, or ANY good pickers that I can visit
-visit Bobbe's place and try-out as many guitars as I can
-GO ANYWHERE NOSTALGIC ABOUT STEEL-GUITAR
-visit the old Sho-Bud factory...if it's still there
-visit Duane and Jeff at their shop
-go by and personally pay my respects to Fran Newman...if she's still in the area
-***I NEED SUGGESTIONS***Please send links to sites if that's the easiest way to help me.****

I may never get to do this again so I'm trying to make the most of it. I'll skip sleeping if I have too.

Thanks!
Marty B.

You will definately want to go to the Station Inn and check out The Time Jumpers with Paul Franklin on Steel. Great Band! Here's their January schedule.

Bobbe Seymour can fill you in on most everything else going on in Nashville.
