Does anyone happen to have a few (even one would be fine) spare barrel tuners laying around? I need one for sure, and a couple more would let me really finish an experiment on the "Sneakycaster II". Last time I checked I came up with zilch, before that there were a few but really expensive...I was hoping a fellow Fender cablehead could help a buddy...but I do have some Fender parts I could trade; pedal rod levers and a bunch of miscellaneous stuff.

Thanks -

Jim

Jim, why don't ya make some? On the other thread you mentioned that you had some machine tools available. Why not make the brass "barrel" with the female threads, and the set screw that holds it in position on the rod, and use a nylon machine screw for the male threaded part. Should be pretty easy to make, and if you run the threads tight, you wouldn't need the spring. If you need that little spring stickin' out, you could use a tiny set screw threaded into the nylon bolt head. Probably be quieter. Not sure about what kinda clearances you've got under your Fender though.??????

Jim
You have machine tools available. It is easier to make better versions of the tuners yourself than get real ones.
