Hey Greg,
I can't wait to hear all that gooooooood
picken, i'll be there if ya need another player, I think this is a cool thing that we
steel players have needed around columbus for awhile. Not to say that the other ohio shows are not great, but you can never have to many!
this will give me a good reason to change strings.. between this one & herbys show in march..

I'm glad your gonna make it up Greg this is gonna be a blast. Maybe we could get Mike between us. I got a great big hammer. That boy could leave all bruised up. But if we're nailing people for hot licks you'd carry a few bruises home too.

The central Ohio jam sounds good. If you decide to have one on a Saturday, my husband, daughter and I may be able to make it. We live near Columbus, Ohio. If you decide to do a Gospel session, our daughter may be able to accompany the steel players on the keyboard, if they care to have one. She is a piano student, and is also very adept at playing by ear. Mike Sigler may remember her from a couple of sessions at
New Lexington.

Mike, My husband and two of our children were at three sessions that Gary Phillips had in New Lexington. Our daughter didn't play for the first one. We had our digital piano along for the next sessions, and Naomi played backup for the players. We are a Mennonite family; I don't know if that will ring a bell with you or not. We would enjoy bringing Naomi along to a session in cental Ohio if it's on a Saturday. I've wondered, too, if Gary Phillips has given up on having any more events in New Lexinton. Do you know?
