A guitar buddy of mine (James) gave me a sheet of
old tablature which I liked so much that I
decided to work out and record an arrangement.

The first turn I played on an acoustic
Yamaha with raised nut tuned A major low bass
....just like the old days...I mean really old.

The second turn is C6th Lap Steel. So we have
sort of a "Then and Now".

I recorded the Hawaiian guitar with an open
Radio Shack mike and it sounds like a really
old recording..but not so. Two days ago.
Contralto lap steel back up.

The composer of this little song was the
former Ken Davidson a player and teacher
from the early Hawaiian Music Studios here
in Nova Scotia.

Thanks to James Brown for bringing a sheet
of paper to my attention.

Lee,
Here is the original Tab Sheet.
Note:
My recording is in A ..this is written for G
so it's right on with your Dobro.
Where the "time slashes" occur I strummed
them out whem time permitted. Smile
