I would like to see a book of instructions for, fill-ins, turn-arounds, Chord progressions, etc., but not in tablature but in notation. Is there such a book? |

Hi, Duane, the only book for Pedal Steel I've seen in (mostly) standard notation is the old Rusty Young book, mostly transcriptions of his steel parts from Poco records. It has a little tab, but mostly standard notation. Not much on basic steel styles, and usually expensive when you can find one. |

Scotty's books published by Mel Bay contain both tab and standard notation. You can get them from our forumeister b0b.
