+Was going to sell the Jackson as I don't think I'll be playing for a year.My wife got wind Of the sale ,and ouch.Nothing but threats.
Guess I'll stare at it for a while.
I told her by then I may need a D-10,just to rest my old arms.
She said maybe.I thought at my age I was in charge around here.

Remember Bill you're the Head of the House but she's "THE NECK" and the head don't move without the neck. I tried to sell my 75 D10 Emmons Red PP and my Neck put a stop to that.

Thanks for all the help you have been to us steelers.
Hope you recover quickly

Bill, Doc,

Just to make sure I've got this right: Your wives won't let you SELL your guitars? Shocked

I get pains in my "neck" when I consider buying one!

Bill,

I am sorry to hear about your health issue. I am sure it will heal quickly, hopefully less than a year. I suspect your wife is correct in this case. Maybe you should just order your D-10 now for delivery in 12 months. There is a lot of delay with some companies.

Hey, guys, my wife has bought me three guitars and maybe a Dobro for this Xmas. I guess I am real lucky.

I suggest you buy her a piano first. A Steinway probably would do the trick.

"If Mama ain't happy ain't nobody happy".
I am very happy she didn't let me sell.
To Marvin
A Steinway sounds like manipulation to me.
Whatever it takes to get them beautiful steel guitars.
Pray for all to get the two or three they want for Christmas. Now that Marvin has showed us how to do it.
Blessings to all and Merry Christmas.
Doc
