I can't decide which band I wanna join! Maybe the Tickies? Or the Hicks? No, I wanna be a member of the SCHYTTS! Perfect! |

Funny...I always thought that country acts looked like these folks...maybe not quite as bad... but glad that I never was in a band that wore any type of UNIFORM!

No problem, they're Swedes. Us Norskis have much better taste! _________________ "Play to express, not to impress"

Come on SG! You're the guy in the lower right in the pic of the Hick band, right?
These pics are priceless! I like the band that has the giant platform shoes, with their jeans rolled way up! What the heck were these guys thinkin'? |

Well, we all know about Swedish women. That's why all those guys are smiling like that. If that's what it takes, I want the name of their tailor.
Group that looks most like they are on parole from maximum security: Tellus
Which also contains the guy whose name I'd most like to borrow: Magnus

Our High School stage band had the same outfits as the "Jan Kenths" back in '76...YIKES! And we thought we looked pretty cool! |

Odd, I saw these photos and a thread almost exactly like this two months ago on another music site.
I usually wear blue suede shoes when I play out. |

Just before I went partially blind I saw on one of the bands
"Kom Loss me Oss!" What does that mean?

An unconfirmed story is that the Swedish dance bands could deduct the stage outfits in taxes if the outfits differed significantly from the everyday casual wear. True or not, my guess is the the Swedes just like to dress that way |
