This version is a hybrid of all the versions I like. The intro is similar to the one Lloyd Green played on the Johnny Russell cut. This was played on my MSA Legend, Goodrich 120 pot pedal, Boss RV-5, Fender Steel King. I boosted the mids at 500 hertz and set the EQ tilt at 12 o'clock for this recording. It made the highs a little more shrill but made the lower strings a bit less boomy and much clearer, I think.
I'll have the rhythm track, arrangement chart and some tab posted soon in the forum tab section.

Thanks James! Someone, a drummer, once told me that the best pedal steel is one that's always "coming around the corner" at you. I guess he meant lots of slurs, slides, and delayed, lately resolved notes. My inherent "time jumping" ability always shows up too, but with practive and playing along with the drum machine, it has improved.
I've posted some tab for this and the rhythm track out in the Forum tab section.
