Hey Dan I really don't know pal. I believe after the first of the year sometime.
If you can get the Christmas CD; it has a bonus CD in it with two songs from that Live in London show.
Of course that Live CD is basically a Steel Guitar CD; but I'm sure you won't mind that

| Christmas CD? How does one go about finding that? My wife has a serious Christmas music addiction, so a Dale Watson Christmas cd would be awesome! |

| I saw Dale on Friday in Mpls. Rob Gjersoe (Jimmie Dale Gilmore, Hal Ketchum) was filling in for Ricky. The new Christmas CD is great. Christmas music with balls. The live bonus cuts are great (Turn off the Jukebox and I Got Stripes) Ricky's steel is really up front on the live cuts. Both Dale and Donnie Knutson said the live Cd will be out in March. |

Hey Steve thanks for the heads up review pal.
Gleespen; I just called Donny and asked him if the Christmas CD is for sale anywhere other than at the shows>and it's not gunna happen this season.
So the only chance of getting one is at the show(s) or if you have a friend attending a show; he can get it and send it to you. The closest gig to you is Southington,CT on the 14th and the gig is at Cadillac Ranch Resturant(860-621-8805) and show time is 8:00pm est.

Yes! Get that Christmas CD -- GREAT STUFF! Saw Dale and the boys (without Ricky, though :>( last night here in Madison, Wisconsin. Robbie Gjersoe was filling in on guitar/steel, and while he did a FANTASTIC job, but I was sure looking forward to meeting Ricky. I knew I was in for a treat when they opened with "Honky Tonk Christmas!"
I bought the Christmas CD, and I would have bought the live CD too, but was short on dough. Hopefully, we'll be able to get it somewhere online soon though, yeah(???)
Still floating from the show last night! Catch him when he comes around!

Hey Todd the Live CD isn't out and won't be out till March; so you couldn't of bought it even if you had the cash  . But there is a extra CD inside that Christmas CD you have; just open further and you will see another CD and it has two bonus tracks from the Live in London show.

I'm sorry but the Christmas CD can only be had at the shows right now(that's what I'm told).
I don't see from the schedule that they are coming through Louisianna this trip.
If ya know anyone in those cities they are in; call'em and have them pick you one up>is the best thing I can tell you.
I wish I had a stock of them here to send out; but I have two left and their spoken for.
Here is what's left on that tour from my itenerary which is more correct than the website.
15th> private party; so no luck there.
16th> Nashville>Belmont theatre and the Grand Ole Opry.
17th>Day off

Well, last night's show in Southington, CT got cancelled. (I'm glad I called ahead to find out what time they were going on!)
On the plus side, I did get to see the A&E k.d. lang thing, but man, was I looking forward to seeing Dale. Bummer. (I was told that the show was cancelled becuase someone in the band was sick, so I hope it's not serious and whoever it is feels better! Being sick on the road sucks.)
Hey, are any of you forumites are going to any of the shows that Ricky listed above? If you are, and feel like helping me out, pick one of those Christmas cds up for me. I'll send you a check. Let me know at patrick@crossind.com if you do. Thanks. |
