Hi lap steel and Dobro fans!
I added a couple more CDs to my CD shop tonight.
The first is a 20 track collection of Sol Hoopii
tearing it up on his Tri Cone and lap steel.
The other new one is called "Legends of Hawaiian Steel Guitar". this one features classic as well as newer tracks from Jerry Byrd, Tau Moe, Barney Isaacs, Ken Emerson, Bobby Ingano, Bob Brozman, Greg Sardinha and more.
I also have CDs by Oswald and Deacon Brumfield as well. Here's the link:

Thanks!
Joe

Hi Joe, your "Typos" simply help me start the day with a smile..
BOOBY Ingano ? Puts a new meaning on the Hawaiian Colloquialism "Brah" !! and Surely Sol is Hoopii in English and Sol Ho`opi`i' In Hawaiian..?
Besides that, I think your post SHOULD be residing Here
(That's a "Clickable Link)
BTW why limit your post to

What about the OTHER resonator guitar players, AND the non pedal console steel guitarists ? After all maybe a "Dobro" fan wouldn't be impressed with a NATIONAL Tricone player ?

Hi Basil,
Thanks for the good eye. Put the page up with bleary eyes last night. I'll correct it right away. It is funny this AM.
As for where I put the posting, 2 reasons:
1. It gets seen by less than a third of forum viewers over in the lessons for sale section.
2. I checked the no pedals section before I put it up and there are more than a few listings for CDs, lessons and such. Be sure to let them know as well this is the wrong section.
thanks, Joe |
