I have a roll of old Bill Lawrence cable. I think I bought it in 1987.

Will the George L ends fit on it?

Looks like the same stuff.

Chances are the old cable is thicker. I have many from that period. The cable that is sold today is of a smaller diameter - about half the size or so. I have several of those, too. So, as for the ends, it's all about the size of the cable hole in the connector.

IMHO, there's no sonic difference between the two sizes of cable.
