Thank you Georgia Steel Guitar Association board members, Bill Ferguson, Wade Medlock, Bob Evens, Donna Dodd, Bill Cunningham, and the others for letting me participate in the Georgia Peach Jam. Also a very "special" thanks for Woody Ledford, Wayne Stowers, Wayne Smith, and Johnny Thomas for making me feel comfortable on stage and for backing me up. I can not explain how much fun I had today at the convention. EVERYONE treated each other like family and welcomed newcomers to the stage (like me). Everyone that played today was absolutley AWESOME!! Steve Geis, Roger Crawford, Tommy Dodd, Bill Cunningham, Jeremy Drawbaugh, and the rest of the cats was just amazing. I hope to be a member of the Georgia Steel Guitar Association for long time. Also, if it wasn't for the encouragement from the GsSGA, I probaly would still be scared of the stage, but thanks to them guys (and girls), I would not have the confidince I need to continue to play the most wonderful instrument in the world!!!! Thank you Georgia Steel Guitar Assocation.

Yes, it was wonderful to see Wayne Stowers looking good again!! Welcome back, Wayne!!!
Austin, you are a STAR!! We're so glad that you captured Bill Ferguson's heart, and became part of our GaSGA family! You're a treasured addition!
My buddy, Brett, played San Antonio Rose, and also played and sang Stand By Me. GREAT JOB, Brett!!! And, Red Gold Beauty stood proud as ever!
Tommy always says he wants to grow up to be Buck Grantham. He's an amazing player - and I'm glad so many got to hear him for the first time!! Thanks to Buck and Mitzi for making the long trip to join us!!
Jeremy Drawbaugh was his usual mesmerizing self!! GREAT PLAYER!! It was so nice meeting his family and friends from Alabama. His son is precious! Thank you, Jeremy, for supporting our show. And thank you also for your nice comments.
Everyone knows that Bill and Linda Ferguson have an insatiable appetite for their grandchildren. Four year old, ELI was with them!!! As you might guess, Bill had Eli set up with a guitar and picks - on stage, next to him while he played his set. Bill had a grin on his face all day long!! He probably still has the grin on his face!!!!
The GaSGA proudly presented Richard Allbright with the Legends Award this year. I had the opportunity to visit with his daughter, Sherry and brother, Rick. I'll be posting pictures and a bio of Mr. Allbright on the GaSGA website next week.
Wade Medlock's arrangement of Jesus Loves Me was the highlight of MY day!!
This was our 10th Georgia Peach Jam since the inception of the GaSGA organization in 2004. Thanks to our member-contribution, we continue to grow in our efforts to bring the steel guitar to the forefront of Georgia music. It’s a group effort to keep the GaSGA alive and thriving, and we thank everyone for their contribution.

Yep Donna, I do still have a smaile on my face. Can't wait to get on the video so I can post a song on YouTube.
By the way, Eli is only 3. Will be 4 in January. And he has been playing that steel guitar ever since Sunday. My ears are hurting but I love it.
