KS: Billy Spears Band Reunion

For anyone who happens to be in the Kansas City area this weekend, there will be a reunion of the Billy Spears Band at Liberty Hall in Lawrence, KS on Saturday night. Billy is a great fiddle player who played with T Texas Tyler in the 50's and toured extensively with this band in the 1970's. Lots of good western swing music and there's a rumor that Junior Brown, who played with this band back then, is going to join us. Y'all come!

I would like information on how to contact billy. He is from Hartshorn, Ok and back in the 50's we attended Okla. A&M Tech College together. We would go to bars set and play for tips. I have not talked with him or seen him since. Hope you might help me contact him. Only wish I could attend this tribute. He is one great player and a real nice guy. thanks
