Hi all, I wanted to post this here before diving into Ebay. I've mentioned this amp a couple of times in posts before, and although I've really liked it, I'm moving in a different (and smaller) direction.

So, here you go: For sale, one Ampeg Gemini II. Make me an offer, and see how close to $700 you can get. I'll happily discuss other offers, as well as shipping agreements.

It's circa 1967, at least that's the date that's written on the "owner's card" that's still semi-adhered to the inside. I've owned it for about 8 years now, and gigged off and on for most of that time. It's covered pedal steel and regular guitar duties, as well as bass from time to time. It IS played, and while it's nowhere near mint, the grillwork and blue diamond covering is still in pretty good shape.

It's not factory anymore, either, although the tubes and caps MAY well be Shocked

I've had the 2 prong AC plug replaced with a 3, and I've had the hardwired 2 button foot switch replaced with a detachable 1/4" plug. I've also had to replace the original reverb unit, with a 3 spring Spectronics unit. All of these have been done by my local guitar shop professional.

The rest is factory, as far as I know--One 15" Jensen Concert speaker, and no other mods. The sound is wonderful, although currently it's got a little extra hiss--some new caps and tubes will be in order.

If you can't access the pics for some reason, I'll email them. Send me requests and/or questions by PM on the forum, or at old65@yahoo.com

Thanks so much for looking!
