First and last verses are pedal steel with a touch of reverb only. Third verse is a Rondo SX Lap Steel.

On the ending there's another use for dropping the E9th second string a full tone. I use it here to hold a steady F note drone to play the other strings against. The intro uses the E9th 9th string dropped a half tone with some pedal action on the 3rd pedal that I posted about earlier and a bit of the Franklin 4th pedal.

The chords are embellished a bit but you can play a simple melody line against the rhythm track and it will sound fine.
